Fine Arts High School to Host Traditional Khmer New Year Celebration

Phnom Penh: The Fine Arts High School is set to host a traditional Khmer New Year celebration from April 1st to April 22nd, 2024, aiming to promote the dissemination and awareness of arts and culture.

As announced by the Secondary School of Fine Arts on March 12, 2024, the celebration will take place at the Secondary School of Fine Arts premises in Phnom Penh.

The event aims to showcase the artistic talents and cultural heritage of Cambodia to the wider public while highlighting the training and skills development of both teachers and students.

The program will feature exhibitions of student artworks, participation in various handicraft activities across the capital and selected provinces, and performances of various art forms by students, artists, and notable alumni of the Fine Arts High School. Additionally, classical and contemporary music concerts will be held to showcase Cambodia's rich traditional culture and heritage.

This inclusive event welcomes participation from the public, spectators, and philanthropists, providing an opportunity for all to engage with and celebrate Cambodia's cultural richness freely.
